About Dennis and Jennifer Chong

 

Dr. Dennis K. Chong and Jennifer K. Smith Chong

Dennis K. Chong, M.D., MPNLP, C. Ht.Fellow of The American Board of Medical Psychotherapy Fellow of The Society of Neuro-Semantics.

Originally from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Dr. Chong obtained his formal education in England where, in 1964, he graduated from Leeds University Medical School.

In 1972 he emigrated to Canada where he set up Family Practice in Milverton, Ontario. Since 1978, he and his wife Jennifer have operated a thriving medical practice, in Oakville, Ontario, where they specialize, exclusively, in Medical Hypnosis and Psychotherapy.

In 2001, their professional presentations have included:

  • American Board of Medical Psychotherapists and Psychodiagnosticians - Honolulu, Hawaii Ontario Dental Association - Toronto, Ontario Halton Hills Chamber of Commerce - Georgetown, Ontario
  • National Guild of Hypnotists - Nashua, New Hampshire (see Awards)

Jennifer K. Smith Chong, S.R.N., S.C.M., P.H.N., MPNLP, C.Ht. Fellow of The Society of Neuro-Semantics Born in England, Jennifer received her education as a Registered Nurse, Public Health Nurse and Certified Midwife there. Upon emigrating to Canada, in her position of Public Health Nurse, she organized Perth County's first Family Planning Program. Further studies took her into the area of human sexuality. As an individual presenter, she has lectured to such organizations as the Toronto Children's Aid Society, the Social Services Staff at the University of Waterloo, The Ontario Society of Clinical Hypnosis, the Survivor Support Programme and the Toronto Assoc. for Volunteer Administration.

The Chongs more than 20 years of experience and accumulated knowledge, in the field of Hypnosis, is exquisitely shared both through their dynamic teaching styles as well as the therapeutic techniques offered to their clients. Besides holding credentials as Master Practitioners of Neuro-Linguistic Programming, they are the creators of the new emerging field of Neuro-Semantic Programming.
